I know, I know, my mom has been "MIA" once again from my blog. I don't know what to do with her. She needs to go to time out since she hasn't updated about my life in the last, oh, I don't know, almost year. She needs to tell you all about what we did in the summer and the fact that I am now in Preschool and how much I love, love, love it! I don't have any trouble leaving mom or dad when they drop me off at the door of my classroom. I don't always remember what we talked about during the day. I think that mom doesn't think I am learning very much, but secretly, I know WAY more than she thinks. I do know that I love to play on the playground and especially playing with the little "fire truck". Here is a real one that came to my school during "safety week".
Because of that fire truck, I have decided that I want to be a Firefighter Princess when I grow up. A girl's gotta have dreams, right? I am very good at wearing my tiara over my fire hat. :-)
Let's see, I got to go to Sea World a couple of times this past spring and fall. I enjoyed the rides in the kids play area. I think that I am a ride kinda girl, I would much rather do those than look at any animals, to my mom's dismay. She likes to spend time looking at dolphins, turtles, killer whales and what not. I only care about the rides, you can't get me there fast enough.
Although, I did enjoy touching the stingray! And getting splashed by them too.
We went camping in GA for a weekend and were able to walk right to the beach. Now that I can swim, I am more comfortable getting into the ocean water. What else did we do this summer? I told you, there is so much to catch up on. Um, we went to NE to spend time with my grandparents and cousins for a week. I don't get to see them very much and that makes me sad. I wish that we lived closer so that I could play with them. We had such a good time together and I was able to meet my new baby cousin, Kara then too.
We have gone to the zoo a number of times and the same thing there, I would much rather go on the rides than look at some smelly animals. My favorite rides are the carousel and the roller coaster. I ask as soon as we get in the gate, "When can we go on the rides, mom?" she says, "after we look around for awhile." I am not at all happy about that answer, but I obey anyway. Of course, I have to ask about 20-30 times more though. My mom LOVES it when I keep asking. She always says, "Ask again, Anna please?" Okay, maybe not. Maybe that's just what I hear!
Mom made an owl costume for my Noah's Ark parade at school. She stayed up WAY past her bedtime making it just for me. My teachers really like it. I think it's just so, so. The hat is itchy, so I didn't wear it very much.
Anyway, that's a glimpse of what happened this summer/fall. I am sure there is much more that mom is forgetting to tell you about, but at least you got an idea. Now it's Christmas time and I am looking forward to all that fun things mom has planned for us to do together. I hope that you enjoy the pictures. Bye for now!
