Christmas 2013

We had a great Christmas time. Mom made a countdown calendar and we did some fun activities together as a family. One of them was making Gingerbread Houses, well, they weren't really gingerbread, they were made of plastic, but it was still a lot of fun to decorate them. I think I probably ate more candy than decorated with it though.

My school had a Christmas Party and Santa came to visit with each one of us. We had pizza, apple slices and candy canes for dessert. It was fun to spend time with Santa. Here is a picture of me and my teachers at The Robin's Nest Preschool. I really like my teachers, they are so much fun. That other picture up there is of me and my classmates. I have made some good friends there too. Our school room is decorated all in Dr. Seuss stuff, so that's what the other picture is of me up at the top.

On Christmas Eve, mom brought home an elf that she got from work. I have been having so much fun with him. He stays in my room now. My grandma came to visit for Christmas. We had some fun times together. I have to say that I got lots of fun presents. Mom and dad got me some much needed clothes and a puzzle and books and some princess lip-gloss, all different flavors. My grandma gave me some Hello Kitty stuff.  I really like that stuff. My other grandparents gave me a piano that I can walk on and play. They also gave me a video camera. I have had lots of fun with that too. I must say that I am so thankful for family and friends who love me so much. My aunt and uncle from Colorado gave me a whole box full of fun stuff that I am still doing. All in all it was a great Christmas. I hope you enjoyed my pictures. Bye for now!

What ever happened to Anna?

I know, I know, my mom has been "MIA" once again from my blog. I don't know what to do with her. She needs to go to time out since she hasn't updated about my life in the last, oh, I don't know, almost year. She needs to tell you all about what we did in the summer and the fact that I am now in Preschool and how much I love, love, love it! I don't have any trouble leaving mom or dad when they drop me off at the door of my classroom. I don't always remember what we talked about during the day. I think that mom doesn't think I am learning very much, but secretly, I know WAY more than she thinks. I do know that I love to play on the playground and especially playing with the little "fire truck". Here is a real one that came to my school during "safety week".
Because of that fire truck, I have decided that I want to be a Firefighter Princess when I grow up. A girl's gotta have dreams, right? I am very good at wearing my tiara over my fire hat. :-)
Let's see, I got to go to Sea World a couple of times this past spring and fall. I enjoyed the rides in the kids play area. I think that I am a ride kinda girl, I would much rather do those than look at any animals, to my mom's dismay. She likes to spend time looking at dolphins, turtles, killer whales and what not. I only care about the rides, you can't get me there fast enough.
Although, I did enjoy touching the stingray! And getting splashed by them too.
We went camping in GA for a weekend and were able to walk right to the beach. Now that I can swim, I am more comfortable getting into the ocean water. What else did we do this summer? I told you, there is so much to catch up on. Um, we went to NE to spend time with my grandparents and cousins for a week. I don't get to see them very much and that makes me sad. I wish that we lived closer so that I could play with them. We had such a good time together and I was able to meet my new baby cousin, Kara then too.

We have gone to the zoo a number of times and the same thing there, I would much rather go on the rides than look at some smelly animals. My favorite rides are the carousel and the roller coaster.  I ask as soon as we get in the gate, "When can we go on the rides, mom?" she says, "after we look around for awhile." I am not at all happy about that answer, but I obey anyway. Of course, I have to ask about 20-30 times more though. My mom LOVES it when I keep asking. She always says, "Ask again, Anna please?" Okay, maybe not. Maybe that's just what I hear!
Mom made an owl costume for my Noah's Ark parade at school. She stayed up WAY past her bedtime making it just for me. My teachers really like it. I think it's just so, so. The hat is itchy, so I didn't wear it very much.
Anyway, that's a glimpse of what happened this summer/fall. I am sure there is much more that mom is forgetting to tell you about, but at least you got an idea.  Now it's Christmas time and I am looking forward to all that fun things mom has planned for us to do together. I hope that you enjoy the pictures. Bye for now!

Anna's 4th Birthday Party

Wow! I am four years old now. That sure went fast. I have lots of new things to look forward to now that I am four. I had a butterfly birthday party a couple of days before my actual birthday, so I could have more people over. It was fun. My friend's mom brought her face paints, so I had her paint a rainbow and cloud on my face. Mom and Grandma made me a butterfly cake. It was pretty. Thanks to my friends who came to help me celebrate.

Bye for now....(oh, by the way, I start preschool in august, I'll have lots to share then, stay tuned....)

Anna's 3rd birthday.

Today is  my 3rd birthday. we had a party at a park yesterday so my friends could come too. I love to play at the playground, so it was the best place to be. mommy made cupcakes, they were delicious. I got lots of presents, stickers, babies, bubbles, books, some clothes. a broom, -so I can help mommy sweep-and some toys to play with at the beach. I had mickey mouse balloons and plates, napkins & cups. I like being able to play outside pretty much everyday. I am doing well. I hope you enjoy the little video. That's mom and me singing today for my birthday. We went to McDonalds for my birthday breakfast. I love pancakes, so I was super excited about going there. It isn't very far from our house, so we took our walk  After breakfast, we went to another playground. I think I would be happiest if I could just live at the playground. :)  Here are some other pictures of my party though. I hope you all had a great weekend. Bye for now.

Dancing

I really like to dance....mom and dad are thinking of enrolling me in ballet or as I say, "belly" class, depending on how much it costs. I think it would be fun. I love to dress up too. I want to show the whole world whenever I get dressed up. I always say, "take a picture, please!" I hope that you enjoy my little video. Have a wonderful weekend. Bye for now.
